Charming stay with a few hiccups

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the vibe. Loved the Christmas decor and the honesty bar in the lounge. The location was unbeatable—just steps from great restaurants. One downside was the fire alarm at bedtime, which was a hassle with a baby in tow. Housekeeping could've been clearer about cleaning times too.

The room was inviting and well decorated! I loved the continental breakfast, I could order a full British breakfast if I wanted, amazing variety!

It wasn’t inexpensive, but honestly, that’s the norm here.

The in-room breakfast was a delightful treat, adding a personal touch to our mornings. Not to mention, I loved spending time at the charming bar area, sipping on a drink while soaking in the ambiance. Our stay was made even better by a stunning room, and the attentive staff who went above and beyond when I forgot to order breakfast!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay with its gorgeous roll top bath and an very nice hidden bookcase area in our Luxury Double Room. The decor throughout the hotel is striking, making you feel right at home.

I truly enjoyed my stay at The Portobello. The location offers vibrant exploration of Notting Hill, while my beautifully designed room provided exceptional comfort for sleep. Though the breakfast lacked diversity a bit, the overall charm makes it a worthwhile choice for anyone visiting London.

the notting hill area is just gorgeous, i loved my deluxe queen room! it was so sunny and big, and the decor is full of cool antiques. the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the bathroom was amazing with both a big tub and shower. its supper quiet too, so i really rested well.

It was a bit pricey, and the breakfast could have been better. not exactly what was advertised on the site.

Breakfast was delightful, featuring good variety, including fresh bread. the room's attic-like feel initially felt claustrophobic, and my view overlooked a street that was somewhat dark. The honor bar was convenient for a nightcap after a busy day.
